In some circumstances, these items may be eligible for a refund or a replacement (for example, if you receive the wrong item due to an Amazon AU error or if the item is faulty). In some cases, the nature of the item means that it is non-returnable, for example, due to hygiene/health and personal care/wellness/consumable nature of the product. RV CONNECTED BATTERY WRONG BLEW THE BATTERY ISOLATOR RELAY FULLThe simplest way to solve the whole problem would have been to make sure the aux start solenoid was a continuous duty solenoid and just add a new pick path from the ignition. You can return most new, unopened items fulfilled by Amazon AU within 30 days of receipt of delivery for a replacement or full refund of the price you paid for the item if you change your mind - see About Replacements and About Refunds. They can explain different options to complete his project. I agree with moisheh that the OP needs to go to a good Monaco board and seek help. OP, can you tell us what cables are shown in the photo? The chassis battery should go directly to one of the large terminals on the Big Boy and the house batteries to the other. I do believe he has it hooked up wrong, however. Intellitec calls both their Isolator relay and their Disconnect relay "Big Boy's". Read the label on the relay/solenoid in the subject photo. Have you determined the functions of the smaller relays in the lower left corner?Įnblethen, you are making the same mistake that I made. It is operated off a double pole double throw switch somewhere in the coach. It appears to be a standard four post relay. The relay in the center of photograph 2 is not a Big Boy. Maybe i have to change to BIRD controller. I ordered the simple batt isolator relay delay thinking, it will do the job of charging house batt when the alternator is running. Not sure what I (could this be ignition?) and S (could this be-house batt or engine batt)? What needs to be connected to BIGBOY I and S terminals (not shown in the picture as they point downwards). Lambert battery trickle charger working on House batteryĪs you can see that the batteries are still ISOLATED Lambert battery trickle charger working on Engine battery RV CONNECTED BATTERY WRONG BLEW THE BATTERY ISOLATOR RELAY GENERATORThis is the Lambert battery trickle charger when coach is connected to generator or shore power. Here is the jumpstart relay that turns on/off from driver's dash Here is the entire setup, housed behind a plexiglass cover. Note the diode based isolator has been replaced by bigboy My coach is pretty old and so i am not sure what a battery control center is, but here are some pics anyway of what i think you wanted to see. The auxilary start function would work but the charge would not. I had problems with my charge/auxilary start relay and replaced it with one off the shelf from NAPA. Please post model of battery control center. OP: do you have an Intellitec battery control center. Your mileage may vary.Ģ009 Holiday Rambler 42' Scepter with ISL 400 Cumminsħ50 Watts Solar Morningstar MPPT 60 Controller Of course I never let the house batteries get deeply discharged and then drive off on a mild day (with minimum amp usage) letting the alternator work at maximum output to charge the house batteries. So I agree with another poster - your alternator will likely never produce 200A and even if it does it will never ever deliver 200A through the isolator relay. In 4 years it never failed and it's now in the departed rig. On the last failure I went to a RV supply house in Iowa and bought a 80A solenoid - yup 80A. Over the years both units were rebuilt and continued to fail. My 04 had a 200A Intellitec solenoid that failed and was replaced. I have sold that unit and the replacement rig has the bigboy and the BIRD but I've only had this rig for 2 weeks and haven't jumped into those components. My 04 Endeavor has your delay referenced isolator and a solenoid.
